Good to know

Questions we hear most.

What qualifies as a collector vehicle?

Requirements vary, but generally a vehicle 20 to 25 years or older, maintained above ordinary condition, stored securely, and not used as daily transportation.

What does agreed value mean?

You and the carrier agree on the vehicle’s value when the policy is written. If it is a total loss, that is what you are paid — no depreciation argument.

Are there mileage limits?

Most collector policies include an annual mileage allowance with tiers to choose from. Higher allowances cost more but stay well below daily-driver rates.

Is the car covered at shows and on tours?

Yes, including transit to and from events. Many policies also extend to spare parts and the tools you carry.
